Alice in Borderland Season 3 has been officially confirmed by Netflix for September 2023, with director Shinsuke Sato and key actors Kento Yamazaki (as Ryohei Arisu) and Tao Tsuchiya (as Yuzuha Usagi) returning. Although no official premiere date has been announced, the series will release in 2025.

In the second season, Arisu and Usagi were given the option of returning to the real world or remaining in Borderlands after defeating the Face Card players. They chose to return and woke up in a hospital with no memory of what had happened. However, the appearance of the Joker Card at the end of the second season hinted at new challenges awaiting them.
