Faster (2010)

Directed by George Tillman Jr., Faster is a fast-paced revenge thriller starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Driver, a man fresh out of prison with a single mission: to track down and kill the men who betrayed him and murdered his brother. Armed with a powerful sense of vengeance and a no-nonsense attitude, Driver uses every skill at his disposal to methodically eliminate his targets. However, he’s being pursued by a morally conflicted cop (Billy Bob Thornton) and a hitman (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) with his own agenda.

The film delivers exactly what you’d expect—intense action, brutal gunfights, and a relentless protagonist who won’t stop until his mission is complete. Johnson is perfectly cast as the stoic antihero, bringing physicality and emotional depth to a role that requires more than just brawn. The supporting cast, especially Thornton, adds some complexity to the story, providing a more nuanced look at morality and the cost of revenge.
