The Missing

Is a 2003 American Western thriller film directed by Ron Howard. The movie is based on the novel “The Last Ride” by Thomas Eidson.

The story follows Maggie Gilkeson (Cate Blanchett), a single mother living in 1880s New Mexico. When her daughter Lily is kidnapped by a ruthless Apache warrior named Pesh-Chidin, Maggie embarks on a perilous journey to rescue her. She’s joined by her estranged father, Samuel Jones (Tommy Lee Jones), a former Apache scout.

As they navigate treacherous terrain and confront their troubled past, Maggie and Samuel must work together to save Lily and face their own personal demons.
