Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ‘figuring out their new normal’ as newlyweds navigate demanding work schedules
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are settling into married life while juggling two very different work schedules.
“Taylor and Travis spent so much time together in the months leading up to the wedding, and they were pretty much inseparable,” a source exclusively told Page Six. “Now they’re settling into this new rhythm as a married couple and really enjoying what that feels like.”
The insider said the newlyweds are still soaking up the excitement of making things official after tying the knot in a star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3.
“They both still light up when they refer to each other as husband and wife, and there’s something really exciting and special about that for them,” the source said.
“They’re just incredibly happy to be in this next chapter together and are enjoying figuring out what their new normal looks like.”
That new normal comes with the pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs тιԍнт end, both 36, once again throwing themselves into their respective careers.
“Taylor has been pouring herself into writing new music and is incredibly inspired creatively,” the insider said. “Songwriting has been her main focus, and she’s really excited about what’s taking shape.”
Meanwhile, the Super Bowl champion has turned his attention back to the football field as he gears up for another season with the Chiefs.
“Travis is completely dialed in on this NFL season right now,” the source told us. “He’s focused on football, his team and having the best season he possibly can.”
According to the insider, “He’s been in talks with different networks and studios over the last few years about various projects, and there are definitely opportunities there for him when the time comes, but none of that is his priority right now.”
The couple’s busier schedules mark a change from the period of time before their nuptials, when they were able to spend significantly more time together.
“Their schedules look very different now than they did in the months leading up to the wedding, but they’re really enjoying finding their rhythm as a married couple,” the source said.
Representatives for Swift and Kelce did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Kelce confirmed in March that he would return to the Chiefs for another season after months of speculation that he could retire.
During an episode of his “New Heights” podcast, the NFL star confirmed he’s “doing it again,” and the Athletic later reported he had agreed to a one-year contract worth up to $15 million.
At the time, Kelce also credited Swift with helping inspire him to continue pursuing the career he loved since childhood.
“We share the same love for what we do, and fortunately we’ve had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions,” Travis said on a live taping of the “Pat McAfee Show.”
Swift and Kelce tied the knot in front of more than 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden, with an impressive mix of family members, longtime friends, teammates and celebrities in attendance.
At around 7:30 p.m., the Garden’s exterior lit up with pink digital screens reading “JUST&T MARRIED!”
Swift’s longtime publicist, Tree Paine, who was at the wedding, confirmed to Page Six the “Love Story” singer walked down the aisle in a Christian Dior haute couture gown, and Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.
Austin Swift served as his sister’s “man of honor,” while Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce, served as his best man, Paine also confirmed.
The couple revealed their engagement in August 2025 with a playful Instagram post that read, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” ending the caption with a dynamite emoji, seemingly referencing their “TNT” nickname.
The lovebird’s engagement came after nearly two whirlwind years together. Swift was first spotted cheering Kelce on at a Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023, and the pair went public with their relationship soon after.
